We only collect the information we need to help with your enquiry, connect you with relevant suppliers and process your quote request. This may include:

• Details about your printing needs, such as your current equipment, print volumes, paper sizes, features, the number of machines and the size of your business
• The price range you are comfortable considering
• When you would like us to call you, if you ask for a call
• How you found our website, such as the advertisement or link you clicked

We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g. health, religious, or biometric data).

2. How We Collect It

We collect information when you:

• Use our Printer Cost Check or complete a quote request form on our site
• Ask us to call you, or ask us to email you your results
• Contact us directly via email or phone
• Interact with our website (via cookies, see Section 6)

You can browse our website, and see indicative pricing in our Printer Cost Check, without telling us who you are. We only receive your contact details if you choose to provide them.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your details for the following purposes:

• Process and manage your quote reques
• Share your request with the number of suppliers you choose, from 1 to 5, so they can provide quotes
• Call you back or email you your results, if you ask us to, including any reminder you request
• Communicate with you about your request or related services
• We may contact you from time to time about matters relevant to your printing (see Section 4)
• Measure how well our advertising works, for example by recording that your visit came from an online advertisement
• Meet legal requirements or resolve disputes
• Analyse trends and improve our service (using de-identified data)

We do not sell your information.

4. Who We Share It With

We only share your details with:

• Pre-screened suppliers relevant to your request
• Service providers we use for website hosting, email, and analytics (all bound by confidentiality agreements)

We require suppliers to respect your privacy, but they operate under their own privacy policies. Please check their terms before engaging with them.

Marketing and Follow-Up Contact

When you request printer quotes or a cost comparison through our website, you give us your business contact details so we can help with your enquiry.

By submitting that request you consent to CopierChoice contacting you about the enquiry itself, and to us contacting you from time to time afterwards about matters relevant to your printing. That may include equipment and pricing information, replacement options, and letting you know when your current equipment or agreement may be approaching renewal or replacement.

We may contact you by email, and/or by telephone where you have given us a phone number. We do not sell your contact details. We do not pass them to anyone other than the suppliers you have asked to quote.

If you only ask us to email you your results, we send those results and any reminder you asked for. We only contact you beyond that if you tick the box agreeing to it.

You can opt out of this contact at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, by telling us when we call, or by contacting us at admin@copierchoice.com.au. Opting out does not affect a quote request already in progress, and we will still be able to deal with that enquiry.

We keep a record of when you gave this consent and the wording you were shown at the time.

5. Data Storage & Security

We use trusted technology providers for services such as website hosting, email, customer records, analytics and advertising measurement. Your information may be stored or processed through these systems as part of providing those services to us. We store your information on secure systems, some of which may be located outside Australia. Where information is processed or stored overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure our service providers maintain appropriate privacy, security and confidentiality standards.
